Postcards from Romania

The piece consists of around 180 postcards with photos from my Entropy series, that I have taken in Romania between 2007 and 2010. The postcards were initially arranged in the shape of Romania and each member of the public was invited to take one postcard home, thus consuming the artwork itself. Each postcard is a memory of an imaginary trip around Romania that the viewer is invited to take.

The work was exhibited in February 2011 at Accademia di Romania in Roma, as part of Play – Giochi di ruolo, an exhibition organised by students of the IED Rome Event and Museum Curator Masters.
