There were 3m² of green space per person in Bucharest in May 2007.

Although this grim statistic was highly disputed at the time, in particular by state official, independent sources such as the WWF and other Romanian NGOs were confirming it. This self-initiated project wanted to raise the public’s attention and make a positive impact by creating a visual representation that would put the numbers into perspective. Every grass rectangle was 3m².

The project was part of the Street Delivery annual event in Bucharest.
